One day after browsing through the internet after troll related pictures, i figured that i wanted something i could call my own as well. After thinking a while about it, i realized: Why not?

The whole portait is 60x60cm big and is entirely made out of small plastic beads that you might have played with as a kid perhaps, but with the help of a program called "Photopearl" you can re-create real pictures by just using those small beads. Each plastic plate is about 15x15cm big and takes about 900pearls in order to fill and the whole portait is 16 plates big which means it took about 14400 pearls in total. To fill one plate takes about an hour to do if everything goes smoothly, but i had an accident with one and had to redo it which took an additional hour to make. Grand total, 17hours making not includning the days i've been extremely lazy.

The biggest question remains... Where should i hang it up?

Credits goes to Blizzard for the awesome troll race and of course the biggest credit goes to the artist who colored the best picture i've ever seen ([link]).

Thanks for posting the pictures - maybe for something bigger, you could do that one con painting of Thrall and Cairne rescuing kids? Just a thought.

Haha, think bigger indeed! But don't worry i got some pictures i've tested a little with my rendering program, but it might just involve a troll or two!
